Beautiful quality, wonderful designs

I've purchased a number of rings and bracelets from here and they are all gorgeous! The quality is excellent, I love the sterling silver because I don't have to worry about taking anything off when washing my hands! The service was lovely too!

really nice quality and feels very durable.

Simple and charming

Love the elegance of the leaf - something about it and the silver colour gives me almost mythical vibes ;) . The hoops do seem a little thick/chunky in comparison to the sleek leaf, but not a major issue. Not sure if it's to do with my water hardness or the hair products I use when washing my hair with the earrings in, but they have developed a 'sticky' dull residue on the hoops. This can be cleaned off and is probably just a me problem, but I do like earrings that this doesn't happen for.
Overall though, beautiful and simple earrings that are easy to wear. <3

Elegant and practical

Love the pretty charm of these earrings. Very dainty and simple, and also very easy to wear. Upon purchase I was offered to try them on, and should've taken the offer as I forgot that my piercings are fairly high so the small size of these huggies makes it very difficult to get them in. However, once in, I love wearing them! :)

Gorgeous!!

Absolutely adorable earrings! The size of the bees and hoops is great. Did find it a little difficult to get the earrings in and secured, but after they were in I had no issues, and they were also easy to get out. Not sure whether it was more of a user issue or the way the hoops were bent, but when I put in a different set of the same style, I got them secured first try.
Overall, absolutely love the happiness these earrings bring. They also don't appear to be affected by being worn in chlorine water (important to me as a swimming instructor), which is a testament to their quality.

About Your purchase

Sterling Silver

925 Sterling Silver composes of 92.5% pure silver and the remaining is other metals (such as copper). The added metal makes Sterling Silver stronger and more durable than pure silver. Our jewellery is all lead, cadmium and nickel free.

Ethically Sourced, Sustainably Made (more info here)

They are ethically sourced and made in Thailand. Your jewellery doesn't need to cost the earth. Wear your jewellery with peace of mind that it has been ethically sourced, and is made from 100% recycled silver by fairly paid employees who work in a safe environment. We and our suppliers consistently strive to minimise their carbon footprint.

Silver coating, Rhodium coating and E-coating

All of our pieces are coated with an E-coat layer (an ultra-fine layer of organic lacquer), plus a 2 micron thick layer of pure Silver or Rhodium for silver pieces, to improve their water and tarnish resistance. You can read more about each coating here.

The extra coating mentioned above protects your jewellery from scratches, daily wear & tear, and increases the life span and shininess of your pieces. This also means they don’t need regular polishing. However, with extra care such as polishing them with a silver polishing cloth, storing them properly, in a jewellery box or other enclosed place will make them last longer.

Water and Tarnish-resistant vs. Water and Tarnish-proof

It is not true to say that Sterling Silver is tarnish-proof. Sterling Silver oxidises naturally. However, with the E-coat method, our pieces are safe to be in contact with water (such as shower water). Water will eventually oxidise Sterling Silver but it can be easily polished to get back its shininess. Sterling Silver comprises of 7.5% copper. I would not describe them as water & tarnish-proof. It is just the matter of time when the E-coat layer wears off. But again, they can be polished and look like new.
Chlorinated water (swimming pool water) and salted water (sea water) and other chemicals such as perfume, lotion, hair spray, etc. are extremely corrosive to silver. We highly recommend that you take your jewellery off when getting into the pool or the ocean or get in contact with chemicals. Good news is if you forget to take them off, they won't be instantly damaged. Just rinse them under clean water to remove the chemical on the surface of the pieces and pat dry.

Hypoallergence

Generally, Sterling Silver is hypoallergenic due to the high silver content. However, some people might still have reactions to Sterling Silver if they have severe metal allergies.

Gold Plated Pieces

Our gold pieces are plated with 24k gold. Most of our gold pieces are flash gold-plated (0.05 microns), except rings are 0.25 microns or more. As they are not 100% solid gold, they need extra care to maximise their life span. Avoid contact with perfume, water, chlorine, etc. to slow down the colour fading.

Sterling Silver Delicacy

Due to high silver content, Sterling Silver is quite delicate. So don’t panic if you see your jewellery warped slightly (especially at the posts). You can use your fingers and gently reshape it

Types of Plating

E-coating

Also known as known as electro-deposition or electro-coating. This is a method that uses an electrical current to coat a metal surface with an organic lacquer. This ultra-fine layer of plastic is a form of plating, designed to significantly improve your jewellery’s tarnishing resistance. All of our pieces are coated with an E-coat layer, except Rhodium plated pieces.

Silver Plating

This is an extra layer of pure silver onto 925 Sterling Silver. This gives the pieces an extra layer of shine and added protection against scratches and daily wear & tear. Unless specifically stated otherwise, this type of plating on our pieces will almost always be two microns thick.

Rhodium Plating

Rhodium is a silver-white hard metal found in platinum ores. This noble metal offers wearers a stunningly bright finish with long-lasting wear. When applied as plating, Rhodium delivers unmatched durability and brilliant brightness, naturally boosting the aesthetics and longevity of any metal jewellery. Rhodium is slightly darker than silver and brings out the strikingly bright colors of crystals or cubic zirconia stones

Gold Plating

A thin layer of almost pure gold (24k) is deposited onto the surface of the sterling silver jewellery’s base. Rings are typically plated with a minimum of 0.25 microns or more, seeing as these items are more exposed to wear and tear daily whereas other pieces are flash gold-plated (approx. 0.05 microns)

FAQ

Where are your jewellery made?

They are ethically sourced and sustainably made in Thailand.

Are your pieces real Sterling Silver?

Yes. All our pieces are real Sterling silver, made from recycled silver. Tips to check if your jewellery is real Sterling silver:

  • Check for 925 stamps. Real Sterling silver should have '925', '.925', 'S925', etc. stamps.
  • Use a magnet to test it. If it doesn't stick to the magnet then it is real.

Are your pieces Nickel and Lead free?

Yes. All of our pieces are Nickel and Lead free.

Are your Sterling silver jewellery water and tarnish-proof?

Our jewellery is water and tarnish-resistant. We highly recommend that you take your jewellery off when getting into the pool or the ocean or get in contact with chemicals. Good news is if you forget to take them off, they won't be instantly damaged. Just rinse them under clean water to remove the chemical on the surface of the pieces and pat dry.

Is your jewellery hypoallergenic?

Generally, Sterling Silver is hypoallergenic due to the high silver content. However, some people might still have reactions to Sterling Silver if they have severe metal allergies.

Why are your pieces malleable?

The added 7.5% of copper makes Sterling silver stronger than pure silver. Howver, due to high silver content, Sterling Silver is still quite delicate. So don’t panic if you see your jewellery warped slightly (especially at the posts). You can use your fingers and gently reshape it.

What is the material of your gold plated pieces?

Our gold pieces are still Sterling silver, plated with 24k gold. Most of our gold pieces are flash gold-plated (0.05 microns), except rings are 0.25 microns or more. As they are not 100% solid gold, they need extra care to maximise their life span. Avoid contact with perfume, water, chlorine, etc. to slow down the colour fading.
