DAMAGES AND ISSUES

We kindly ask you to inspect your order upon receipt. If an item is defective, damaged, or if you have received the wrong product, please contact us within 7 days of purchase so we can address and resolve the issue promptly. After this time frame, we cannot guarantee resolution.

Please note that the determination of a ‘faulty’ or ‘damaged’ item is not subjective. We will assess the item based on its design and characteristics to confirm its condition.

If an item is deemed faulty, we will replace it with the same design whenever possible. In cases where the design is out of stock, you may choose an alternative design of equal value. If the chosen replacement exceeds the original price, the price difference will need to be paid. Should no suitable replacement be available, we will offer a store credit or refund.

Exclusions:

Colour fading or tarnishing: Gold-plated pieces naturally fade over time, sterling silver also oxidises naturally. These characteristics are not considered defects. For more information, please refer to our Jewellery Care section.

Gift cards: Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or refunds for gift cards.

EXCHANGES

Unfortunately, due to hygiene reasons, we do not accept exchanges on jewellery unless faulty. In order to exchange faulty items, the simpliest way is that we isse a Store Credit to you and you place a new order.

We also do not offer exchange or refund due to colour fading on gold plated pieces or tarnishing after wearing. Tarnish stains can be easily removed with a silver polishing cloth. Please refer to Jewellery Care section.

You’ll be refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

RETURN

To start a return, simply contact us at chrissey@aprilchild.com.au. We’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
